I just wanted to take the time to recognize and thank the following people for their donations toward our Juvenile Diabetes silent auction fundraiser: Ingleside Plantation Vineyards and Winery, Keswick Vineyards, Gadino Cellars, Rappahannock Cellars, Sunset Hills Vineyards, Zephaniah Farm Vineyards, Delaplane Cellars, Jessica Phillips, and the entire National LECET staff. The organization was able to raise close to ten thousand dollars towards the JDRF charity and I couldn’t be more pleased with the donations and help from our local vineyards.
I want to also congratulate the winners of the silent auction: Stephanie Williams and Walter Jones. The first prize that won, during the charity luncheon, was an Ingleside Plantation Vineyards and Winery VIP Tasting and Tour for six people, which Stephanie ended up taking home. The second prize was a ‘Picnic in the Country’ wine themed basket sponsored by National LECET and Virginia Pour House. The basket included the following:
